Recipes & Menus

I love cooking.
I grew up with food being a huge part of life, and I truly believe that being able to cook yourself a delicious version of whatever you want to eat at any time is an every day luxury that I'm eternally grateful to experience.
I'd say it started with Christmas around 2015 (I've had to guess here), when I made a flippant comment to my mum about Christmas dinner not being that hard to do... and then it turned into a challenge I was never going to back down from. Meticulous planning and days of preparation meant that we kinda both won as I did it well but of course it wasn't easy...
Since then, I'm head chef on the day and I love it! 
Apart from the obvious benefit of eating so well, I love the creativity of thinking of what I want to make, working out how to do it, letting the idea evolve, and then seeing and tasting the finished product.
For a long time I've thought about putting together some sort of recipe book as my own moment. Well here it is! A collection of my favourite recipes, menus and inspiration. 
Any recipes shared won't have details on quantities or timings I'm afraid as I won't know myself, I enjoy a more fluid approach and see as I go. The key to this method is give yourself enough time, either to practice or lots of time in advance.
